Motion of Waves rising, surging through the Sea // Sound of the Wave

The work is a video-based installation, exploring our changing relationship to the Landscape and inspired by research into Folklore and Ancient Irish History. It aims to address the overwhelming anxiety born from the current Climate Crisis through the lens of Irish Folklore. It situates itself between history and myth, between prophecy and scientific predictions, between our world and the Otherworld.

The work draws primary inspiration from the Tuath Dé Danann, the mythological figure Tonn Clíodhna, and the prophesy of her return.
